It's been a while since we've updated anything... I guess that life just got in the way of hobbies! With seriously reduced funds, racing came to an abrupt holt.

The beetle that we used for racing in 2007 is sadly no longer with us. With an MOT due, we had a serious look at the body work and decided that it was too far gone to try and save. We already have one major project on the go with the Street Racer, so we broke Kinky Bug for bits and sent the shell to the scrap yard in the sky.

So why the update?
We have been alerted to another way that we can get out on the drag strip! Alternative Energy Racing... drag racing as we know it, but with non-fossil derived fuels.

We are going to race our Camper! This is a 2001 VW Transporter that we have converted into a camper van, it is a 1.9 Turbo Diesel that without modification, we can run on 100% vegetable oil.
